The personality literature is dominated by short-term studies. We studied across-season and long-term (co)variation in exploration and sociability. Repeatability estimates for these traits did not differ across different timescales. No evidence was found for significant between-individual correlations between traits. Hence these traits might not constrain each other's evolutionary trajectories.
