3-Aminophenylboronic acid functionalized dual-emission QDs were used as ratiometric fluorescence probe for visual detection of glucose.
This ratiometric fluorescence probe combined ratiometric fluorescence technique with boric acid functional materials into one system.
Due to the changes of the intensity ratios of the dual-emission QDs, continuous color changes could be clearly observed by naked eye.
Compared with other probes for glucose, this probe exhibited obviously increased visual detection sensitivity and selectivity.
