The effect of feed spacer geometry on membrane performance and concentration polarisation based on 3D CFD simulations

3D CFD simulations are performed on 20 feed spacer geometries. Solution-diffusion model is used for realistic description of membrane permeation. Predicted membrane performances for different spacer geometries are compared. The CFD model can be used to predict membrane performance for a given space geometry.
