Bioaccumulation of short chain chlorinated paraffins in a typical freshwater food web contaminated by e-waste in south china: Bioaccumulation factors, tissue distribution, and trophic transfer
Short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) accumulates in aquatic ecosystem. Waterborne exposure was the main way whereby benthopelagic omnivorous fish accumulated SCCPs. The liver preferentially accumulated SCCP congeners with higher log KOW. SCCPs underwent trophic dilution in the aquatic food web.
