Application of Fourier Transform Ultrasound Spectroscopy (FTUS) is demonstrated.

Attenuation constant measured by pulse-echo method depends on experimental conditions.

Intrinsic attenuation constant is determined from Fourier components of echo signals.

Oak Ridge and Oxford method of parameter fitting is applied.

FTUS gives more accurate values for the propagation parameters.
