Risk analysis of BFT and conventional systems was applied in northeastern Brazil to help entrepreneurs in decision-making. The Monte Carlo method was used to establish the financial risk and the maximum expected financial return. The BFT showed high sensitivity to changes in costs and revenues, but both systems have probability of high financial returns.
