The DCA model was adopted to describe the cross section of the corroded pipes. The ASSY criterion was adopted to calculate the burst pressure for corroded pipes. A modified theoretical equation of burst pressure was proposed for corroded pipes. The calculated results are carefully compared with FEM and experiment.
