Platinum and iridium nanoparticles were dispersed over CMK-3 support.
Bimetallic Pt-Ir-CMK-3 showed high activity in the hydrogenation of tetralin.
Active catalytic centers resistant to poisoning were obtained.
Reusability of Pt-Ir-CMK-3 indicates as a potential catalyst for hydrotreating.
