For the first time, a 3-D crustal radial anisotropy model was developed for Cameroon using Ambient Noise Tomography. In the upper crust, we found strong positive (Vsh > Vsv) radial anisotropy in the Oubanguides Belt. The middle crust is characterized by a widespread negative (Vsh < Vsv) radial anisotropy. The magnitude of radial anisotropy changes from negative in the middle crust to positive in the lower crust. The magnitude of radial anisotropy changes from negative in the middle crust to positive in the lower crust.
