Bandgap tuning in ZnO thin film by Cd alloying, to blue wavelength region. Enhanced photoconductivity towards UV as well blue region for Zn0.9Cd0.1O. Fabricated Zn0.9Cd0.1O photodetector (PD) shows 25% increased efficiency than ZnO PD.
