Tin nanoparticles embedded in porous N-doped graphene-like carbon network as high-performance anode material for lithium-ion batteries

A novel porous Sn-carbon composite was prepared via one-step thermal reaction. Sn NPs can be embedded in the porous N-doped graphene-like carbon network. The strategy for the composite is suitable for scalable fabrication. The composite electrode delivers a high capacity of 1129 mA h g−1 at 100 mA g−1. The composite electrode exhibits improved stable ability and rate capability.
