This is the first report of protective efficacy of antibodies to flagellin b + PilA. Antibodies against flagellin b + PilA decrease the invasiveness of PA. Antibodies against flagellin b + PilA increase opsono-phagocytic killing of PA. Antibodies against flagellin b + PilA increase the survival of infected mice.
