Some chalcone linked-1,2,3-triazoles were synthesized in environmentally benign conditions. 6h exhibited significant and broad spectrum activity with IC50 values of 4–11 μM. 6h induces cell cycle arrest in the G2/S phase. 6h triggers mitochondrial potential loss in pancreatic cancer MIA-Pa-Ca-2 cells. 6h can be considered as potential lead for the further development of anticancer agents.
