A novel Schiff base ligand 3-(hydroxyimino)-2-butanone-2-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)hydrazone has been synthesized. Crystal structure and Hirshfeld analysis is carried out for acetate and nitrate salts of the title compound. Structures of synthesized molecules are computationally optimized using DFT. Antibacterial and antifungal activity of the synthesized compounds is presented.
