Reciprocal response to mixed culture of S. cerevisiae and Torulaspora delbrueckii. Yeasts show a similar response with different timing to the presence of each other. The response suggests a stimulation of metabolic activity and growth. The enhanced metabolic activity is confirmed by the CO2 production profile. HSP12 is the only gene induced by co-cultivation in both time points studied.
