Percutaneous laparoscopic assisted gastrostomy is proposed as the preferred technique for those patients who need gastric access, and in whom other percutaneous techniques (endoscopic and radiologic) can not be performed.
Percutaneous laparoscopic assisted gastrostomy associated morbidity is as low, as this of endoscopic and radiologic, even in a group of patients with more advanced disease.
