We model a modified AP1000 fuel assembly in SCALE6.1. We couple the NEWT module of SCALE to the MOGA module of DAKOTA. Transmutation is optimized based on choice of coating and fuel. Greatest transmutation achieved with PuZrO2MgO fuel pins coated with Lu2O3.
