Exposure to thin-idealized body shapes may alter women’s body norms and ideals. AN patients provided less positive liking ratings of bodies as compared to controls. Liking judgments of only round bodies increased after round exposure in controls. Liking judgments of thin and round bodies increased after round exposure in AN patients. The appreciation of human body beauty is rigid in adolescents with anorexia.
