<p id="par0005">A paradoxical reaction (PR) is not an unusual occurrence in immunocompetent children with tuberculosis (TB); PR is defined as the clinical or radiological worsening of pre-existing TB lesions in a patient who has initiated anti-tuberculosis treatment.p>
