IL-4/13A and IL-4/13B increases mRNA levels of arginase-2 and arginase activity in macrophages. Both IL4/13A and IL-4/13B down-regulate IFNγ-induced nitric oxide response of macrophages. Expression of IL-4/13 and arginase-1 and -2 lower on day 14 in T. carassi infected goldfish. Expression of IL-4/13 and arginase-2 up-regulated on day 28 in T. carassii infected goldfish.
