Effectiveness of mechanochemical (ball-milling) preparation of particles based on metal oxides of 3d metals is demonstrated. The particles size is distributed down to 0.1 μm scale. The particles can be used as effective magnetically recoverable catalysts for alcohol oxidation and related reactions.
