Arthrobacter sp. YC-RL1 is a previously reported aromatic compounds degrading bacterium, which could degrade a wide range of pollutants with high efficiency.
Complete genome and plasmids sequences were reported in this study.
More than 10 xenobiotics metabolic pathway were annotated against KEGG database.
Several genes and gene clusters involved in xenobiotics degradation were identified in both genome and plasmids.
The genome sequence will facilitate the investigation of aromatic compounds degrading mechanisms and provide new gene resources for biotechnology and gene engineering.
