文摘

The corrosion state of steel guitar strings was evaluated in artificial human sweat.

Electrochemical methods were applied to evaluate changes in acoustic properties.

Rp may control the sound characteristics during corrosion processes.

Acoustic properties could be modified by means of controlled corrosion processes.

An appropriate correlation was obtained between Rp and sound amplitude measurements.
