We reported MTPE presence in two cultivars of Persia dudaim (Birjand and Kerman). We showed positive effect of RDI on MTPE production by both cultivars. Higher MTPE production was attended by higher ethylene production and ADH activity. Ten-fold increase of MTPE in Kerman dudaim under RDI conditions is explained.
