ADCC responses have emerged as one of the important protective immune mechanisms in HIV infection. IFN-γ secretory ELISPOT assay was adapted for determining ADCC based responses against HIV peptides. The assay detected more number of responders for ADCC activity indicating its higher sensitivity than ICS based assay. The method provides a useful screening tool for assessing ADCC responses against the HIV peptides.
