We present new VIS-NIR spectra of 30 members of the primitive Themis/Beagle families.
Themis members show spectral variability, including blue and moderately red objects.
Beagle members are all spectrally blue, show less variability and tend to be brighter.
This diversity may be explained with compositional heterogeneity in the parent body.
Space weathering may be invoked too, producing darkening and reddening on primitive surfaces.
