Isothermal crystallization kinetics as a probe of the preferential electroactive phase nucleation in silver-poly(vinylidene fluoride) nanocomposites: Dependence on nanoparticle size and concentration
Uniformly dispersed Ag nanoparticles are grown within the PVDF matrix to form nanocomposites. Isothermal crystallization kinetics of the nanocomposites has been studied. The Avrami theory is employed to analyze the crystallization kinetics. Equilibrium melting temperature and different nucleation parameters are evaluated. The mechanism of the formation of polymorphism has been schematically described in support of FT-IR spectra.
