Chlorination kinetics parameters, t1/2 and kobs, were determined. The removal rate of the BTRs was enhanced when increasing the applied m.r. Suspect and non-target approaches were applied for the TPs investigation. Ten TPs in total were detected and structurally elucidated. ECOSAR results displayed the high toxicity of the chlorinated produced TPs.
