Octonacci photonic crystals with negative refraction index materials

We investigate the behavior of the light when it passes through Octonacci photonic crystals. The quasiperiodic multilayer structures are made up by alternate layers of SiO2 and metamaterials. We also intend to investigate the influence of the oblique incidence at the Octonacci photonic crystals. For TM waves the complete band gaps are not found, and we observe only the Bragg pseudo reflector for certain frequencies.
