A diffusion-kinetics code is applied to Jupiter and Saturn’s atmospheres.

Chemistry for species containing H, C, N, O, P, Si, Ge, and As is investigated.

Tropospheric C2H6 is predicted to be a tracer for the deep eddy diffusion coefficient.

Latitudinal variations for CO and GeH4 abundances are predicted.

Implications for constraining deep oxygen via Juno and a Saturn entry probe are discussed.
