High cognitive reserve in bipolar disorders as a moderator of neurocognitive impairment

High cognitive reserve may predict neurocognitive performance in bipolar patients. Bipolar patients with high cognitive reserve show higher attention, verbal fluency and memory. This results may explain the neurocognitive heterogeneity among bipolar patients.
