Single crystals of doped ladder/chain compound grown using TSFZ technique. Microstructure and composition of the quenched FZ thoroughly analyzed. Peritectic and Eutectic compositions are determined. Strong magnetic anisotropy of the Co-doped crystals. Anisotropic intradimer exchange interaction.
