Highly alkaline proteases produced by a newly isolated bacterium strain Bacillus invictae. B. invictae might be useful as potential candidate for application in detergency. The deproteinization of shrimp wastes by B. invictae A was successful. The key challenge of the use of B. invictae proteases in industrial applications is their efficiency under alkaline conditions.
