We fabricate a photosynthesis protein-based sensor consisting of only one-sensing-element. Owing to unique functions of material, the sensor does not need a bias supply and operational circuit. We make use of printed mask patterns to detect the object motion. This finger motion sensor may be applied to contact-free gestural manipulation.
