Magnetic and non-magnetic cmRNA lipoplexes were generated and characterized. cmRNA was efficiently delivered into fat and muscle tissue and into carotid artery. In most cases, magnetofection enhanced transfection efficacy. Prolonged protein production after cmRNA delivery into sheep fat tissue was observed.
