Rapid removal of noxious nickel (II) using novel γ-alumina nanoparticles and multiwalled carbon nanotubes: Kinetic and isotherm studies

Novel γ-alumina nanoparticles and MWCNTs were used as adsorbent. Toxic Ni (II) is chosen as model contaminant. As the pH increases, the Ni (II) removal efficiency increases. As the adsorbent dosage increases, the Ni (II) removal efficiency increases. Qmax of Ni (II) removal using MWCNTs and γ-alumina nanoparticle was 87.65% and 99.41% respectively.
