High-dose BDE-47 hinders Xenopus growth and metamorphosis. Thyroid-related transcriptomic changes were detected in brain, but not tail tissue. Gene expression changes indicated reduced thyroid hormone signaling. BDE-47 altered thyroid-related transcripts associated with neurodevelopment.
