A Neoarchean subduction recorded by the Eastern Hebei Precambrian basement, North China Craton: Geochemical fingerprints from metavolcanic rocks of the Saheqiao-Shangying-Qinglong supracrustal belt
Metamorphic volcanic rocks erupted at 2613–2506 Ma in Shangying terrane, NCC. Arc-related metavolcanic rocks are recognized. Neoarchean basements of Eastern Hebei underwent a southeastward subduction. A period of dominant crust growth in the NCC occurred during 2.5–2.6 Ga.
