CoCrxFe2-xO4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) nano ferrite samples behave like semiconductor. ρ of the samples increased from 1.4 × 106 Ωcm to 46.24 × 106 Ωcm at 300 K with Cr. The Curie temperature decreased from 740 K to 661 K with increase in Cr. Co-Cr ferrites are desirable in electronic and telecommunication applications. Mossbauer spectra indicate the presence of superparamagnetic nano particles.
