We use a 3D model to predict hindfoot alignment variation with lower limb rotation and compare these predictions with actual measurements on a cadaver leg which confirms that reality agrees with the 3D model. Hindfoot deformity value is highest when foot rotation is 0° and decreases when foot rotates away from 0°. Incorrect positioning underestimates hindfoot deformities in 2D methods.
