The pyridinium ketoxime can efficiently extract Pb from chloride solution. The process depended on extractant structure and chloride ions concentration. Lead(II) was extracted as PbCl3− and PbCl42−. Pb(II) recovery from Pb-Zn-Fe or Pb-Zn-Cu solutions was selective and effective.
