The paper separates energy consumption behavior into buying choice and daily use behavior. Urban-rural and regional differences exist in residents’ energy consumption behavior. Urban residents show a greater tendency toward energy-saving behavior than rural residents. Middle Jiangsu residents’ energy-saving behavior is higher than that of residents of North and South Jiangsu.
