Behaviour of sheep at pasture was measured with a tri-axial accelerometer device. Multivariate approaches were used to discriminate the behavioural activities. Discriminant analysis correctly assigned 92.96% of time to behavioural activities. The sum of X values explained 65% of the total variation of the bite frequency.
