The method to Fe determination in produced water is simple, inexpensive and green. The Box-Behnken design enabled efficient optimization of the CPE procedure. The method is accurate for determination of Fe in complex matrices of produced water. The LOD of the method is suitable to check the Fe level in PW is conform Brazilian law.
