Supercritical fluid extraction from Saw Palmetto berries in the range of 300–450 bar. Determination of the solubility of the Saw Palmetto extract in CO2. Free fatty acids and beta-sitosterol content was determined. Extraction yield and composition of the extract were measured and compared with literature data.
