Optical tractor Bessel polarized beams are theoretically investigated for a dielectric sphere. The angular spectrum decomposition method (ASDM) is used to derive the EM field components. Stable and unstable trapping regions around the beam׳s axis are found. The results find applications in optically-engineered (meta)materials, particle manipulation and levitation.
