Three-dimensional numerical simulations were conducted for natural convection phenomena.

Occurrence of instabilities and bifurcation phenomena appears for Ra > 107 for inclinations other than 90°.

Specific Rayleigh number and inclination angle providing an optimal heat transfer through the cylinder and lateral walls of the cuboid are determined.

Correlations of Average Nusselt number through the lateral walls of the cuboid and the cylinder are established.
