TiN/Ti refiner significantly refines the aluminum grains. TiN/Ti increases the nucleation temperature of aluminum. Nano TiN particles can act as the nucleus of heterogeneous nucleation of α(Al). Ti improved the wettability of TiN in the aluminum melt.
