Impact of seven chelating ligands on Hg accumulation in Indian mustard is studied. Both Thiosulphate and sulfite treatments could increase Hg concentration in plant. Thiosulphate treatment could decrease the bioavailable Hg concentration in soil. Thiosulphate might be an optimal chelating ligand for Hg phytoextraction.
