Biodegradable Mg alloy strengthened PLA composite rods were prepared by plastic injection molding; The composite rods show good mechanical and degradation properties. The reinforcement effect of MgF2 coated Mg rod is better than uncoated Mg due to stronger interfacial bonding force.
